These terms cover your use of the pwdnow.com website and the PWDnow open-source software. By downloading, running, or contributing to PWDnow, you agree to the terms below.

Open-source license
PWDnow is distributed as open-source software through our GitHub repository. The software itself is governed by the license file shipped in that repository, not by this page. Nothing here restricts the rights the license already grants you to inspect, audit, fork, and self-host the code.
No warranty
PWDnow is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. As is standard for open-source security software, we do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose, and you remain responsible for backing up your vault export and safeguarding your master password: there is no account recovery mechanism, and lost keys mean permanently lost data by design.
Acceptable use
You may not use this website to attempt unauthorized access to our infrastructure, submit the feedback or newsletter forms for spam or abuse, or misrepresent your affiliation with the PWDnow project. Legitimate security research and coordinated disclosure through GitHub are welcomed, not restricted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, reflecting where the PWDnow Open Source Organization is headquartered.
